Role Overview:
We are seeking an Accounts & Administration Assistant for a leading development company operating across Ireland, based in Cork. The role involves providing financial and administrative support within the accounts department, focusing on invoice processing, reconciliations, and plant hire reporting. The successful candidate will help maintain accurate financial records and support general office administration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inputting high volumes of supplier invoices into systems like Sage Construction.
* Performing monthly creditor and bank reconciliations.
* Maintaining organized financial records in accordance with internal controls.
* Generating plant hire usage and cost reports.
* Providing general administrative support such as document management and data entry.
* Communicating with suppliers and internal teams to resolve invoice and reconciliation queries.
Skills & Experience:
* Experience in a similar accounts or administrative role, preferably in construction or property development.
* Knowledge of Sage Construction or similar accounting software is preferred.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Good organizational and time management skills.
* Understanding of project costing or construction-related financial workflows.
