Payroll Specialist
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Payroll Specialist. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of payroll processes within our facility.
* Maintain compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Resolve payroll discrepancies and collaborate with departments to streamline processes.
This is an onsite position requiring strong attention to detail and payroll expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversight and processing of payroll using Time Management System (TMS) and Sage Micropay for weekly and monthly employees.
2. Addressing payroll-related queries from employees and stakeholders.
3. Monitoring and updating the in-house time and attendance system directly linked to TMS.
4. Registering new employees in TMS and generating daily reports for the shop floor.
5. Facilitating company and employee payments/expenses through online banking software.
6. Completing monthly P30s and yearly P60s for submission to the Accountant.
7. Calculating share payouts and other payroll-related financial adjustments.
8. Preparing letters for PPS numbers, banks, mortgage applications, and other employee requests.
9. Providing payroll-related administrative support and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
10. Assisting with general administrative tasks and other duties relevant to the role.
Requirements: 5 years' experience in high volume payroll processing within production/manufacturing environment within ROI & NI.
