Site Manager / Construction Project Manager

The Role
We are looking for a versatile and experienced Site Manager / Project Manager to oversee a variety of Residential and Commercial construction projects. This is a pivotal role requiring a candidate who is equally comfortable studying complex blueprints as they are managing a busy site.
The successful candidate will have full autonomy to drive projects from site set-out to final handover, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency at every stage.
Key Responsibilities
* Technical Site Leadership: Perform site set-outs and take levels accurately to ensure project precision.
* Project Planning: Study detailed plans, specifications, and contract documents to fully understand the scope of work and resource requirements.
* Operations Management: Direct and coordinate both internal workforces and external subcontractors.
* Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for client representatives, providing progress updates and resolving site-specific issues.
* Health & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to site safety protocols and Irish building regulations.
Requirements
* Experience: Proven track record in managing both Residential and Commercial projects in Ireland.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Site Set-out and Taking Levels is essential.
* Leadership: Strong ability to manage diverse teams and keep subcontractors on schedule.
* Education: A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a trade-based background with significant supervisory experience.
* Documentation: Ability to interpret and "interrogate" contract documents and architectural drawings.
