About the Role
Our client is looking to grow their team with a new hire of a highly capable Operations Manager who will lead the operations across the whole business and be based in their manufacturing plant in Portlaoise
.
Key Responsibilities
* Full responsibility of the full operation life cycle, including, Production, Quality, Health and Safety, Compliance, Environmental and Maintenance.
* Ensuring optimal performance and reliability of all machinery.
* Direct responsibility to drive efficiency and continuous improvements of the following:
* Main Mill
* Auxiliary lines
* Pellet plant
* The ideal candidate will lead a team of a Production Manager, Health and Safety manager and Maintenance Manager.
Skills
* The ideal candidate will be very hands on and extremely driven.
* Highly organised with huge attention to detail.
* Must have technical expertise within the manufacturing industry.
* Strong leadership qualities.
* Excellent communication skills.
* 5 – 10 years' experience within operation management in a high-volume manufacturing plant.
