Process Improvement and Project Management Engineer
The ideal candidate will join a reputable Engineering Team to optimize process efficiency, manage projects, troubleshoot issues, and execute production-related engineering tasks.
* Evaluate product requirements to design effective manufacturing processes, modifying and testing methods and equipment.
* Apply industry knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, materials, and collaborate with production associates.
* Investigate and resolve process operating problems, analyze equipment failures, draft reports, and provide technical assistance to production team members.
* Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues during the manufacturing process.
* Complete capital projects and implement process improvements.
* Participate in and/or lead Kaizen events to enhance manufacturing processes, adopt Lean techniques, increase quality outcomes, and more.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
* Minimum three years of manufacturing engineering or mechanical engineering experience within a manufacturing facility is necessary.
* Must have experience working on the production floor with various types of manufacturing equipment.
* Must be able to read blueprints and wiring diagrams/schematics.
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills are essential.
* Self-motivated and independent with minimal supervision required.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial.
* Effective interpersonal skills for cross-functional team collaboration are mandatory.
