About Us:
STL Logistics is one of Ireland’s leading logistics and distribution providers, proudly servicing major clients across the country for over 50 years. We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our dedicated team at our operation in St James Gate Dublin and Belfast. This is a full-time, hands-on role involving weekday and weekend shift patterns.
Role Overview:
The Forklift Operator will support day-to-day keg operations, ensuring efficient movement and safe handling Kegs. The successful candidate/s will operate technical equipment, assist with loading/unloading, and uphold our high standards of safety, hygiene, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate forklifts safely and efficiently for loading/unloading and internal movement of goods
* Manage loading and unloading of kegs to and from keg carriers
* Ensure all loads are secured and handled in line with company safety procedures
* Adhere to all site health & safety, hygiene, and SOP requirements
* Accurately receive and inspect deliveries
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
* Report incidents or issues promptly to management
* Work collaboratively with team members and support a positive team environment
* Ensure tasks from supervisors are carried out accurately and efficiently
* Contribute to space optimisation and process improvements in the warehouse
Key Requirements:
* Valid Forklift Licence heavy duty
* Previous forklift experience in a busy site setting
* Manual Handling Certificate (desirable)
* Strong understanding of health & safety standards
* Excellent communication and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility to work across a rotating shift pattern including weekends
* Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
