Overview
INFORM3 Recruitment is recruiting a Civil Engineer to work for a busy civils contractor on civils/watermain projects in Galway.
The client is a Civil Engineering Contractor expanding rapidly with a highly knowledgeable and experienced team.
The position is for a candidate with a Civil Engineer background and experience on civils/utility projects.
Responsibilities
Liaise with the Project Manager
Regularly revise Site Drawings and Specifications
Assist in coordinating site staff, providing clear direction on tasks and assisting on technical queries
Coordinate and control plant, equipment and materials on site
Understand company policies with regard to quality and ensuring these are implemented at every level of works
Order in materials when necessary
Maintain the site diary
Conduct Toolbox Talks and Health and Safety Briefings
Ensuring all staff receive full site inductions
Be present for site meetings, ensuring that issues arising on site are discussed and amended
Comply with all Health and Safety policies
Manage traffic on site
Requirements
Civil Engineer Degree
2 - 3 years + experience
Setting Out experience
Watermain/utility experience
Team player who has the ability to self-start and work independently
Confident in using Microsoft Office
Excellent numeracy skills
Full driving licence
