About the Role:
* The Delivery Team Leader will be responsible for developing and executing project plans to deliver requirements and design project artefacts aligned with the company’s roadmap.
* This role involves managing a team of internal and vendor resources across different regions, ensuring successful business outcomes while closely managing scope and timelines.
* Key responsibilities include setting and managing project expectations and deliverables with team members and stakeholders, tracking project milestones and deliverables, producing clear status reports, conducting retrospectives, and presenting recommendations for process improvements.
* The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management methodologies and associated practices, with experience working in the insurance sector being preferred.
* Proven track records of engaging with business executive stakeholders and driving alignment on scope, requirements, designs, development, and testing are essential.
* The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as proactive, motivated, and resourceful qualities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Science, Information Technology, or similar.
* 6+ years' experience delivering complex system integration projects.
* Strong familiarity with IT project management methodologies and associated practices.
* Experience working in the insurance sector is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial.
