Financial Controller
Location: Mulranny, Co. Mayo (On-site)

A growing hospitality group is seeking a Financial Controller to join one of its recently acquired properties in the West of Ireland. The group operates a portfolio of established hotels and continues to expand, offering strong career development opportunities within a dynamic and evolving environment.
This is a key on-site position responsible for overseeing the full finance function of a busy hotel operation. Reporting to the Group Financial Director, the Financial Controller will play a central role in financial management, reporting, and commercial decision‑making, working closely with the senior leadership team on‑site.
Responsibilities
Manage the day‑to‑day finance function, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all financial processes
Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
Monitor financial performance and provide insights to support decision‑making
Oversee cash flow, cost control, and financial planning
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
Manage payroll, accounts payable, and receivable functions
Liaise with auditors and support year‑end processes
Partner with operational teams to drive profitability and efficiency
Report regularly to the Group Financial Director
Requirements
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Strong hands‑on experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role
Hospitality experience desirable but not essential
Strong commercial awareness and ability to influence decision‑making
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of the finance function
