The Abbey Hotel, Donegal Town are seeking a reliable and dedicated and experienced Night Porter/Night Security to join our team. Full-time or part-time role will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct routine patrols of all areas, including hallways,, lobbies, restaurants, bars, and "back of house" areas.
* Respond to guest inquiries or other general questions when appropriate, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
* Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in designated areas, including lobbies, hallways and restrooms throughout the night.
* Assist with the setup and breakdown of events or meetings as required
* Ensure only guests are allowed beyond the reception areas for security and safety reasons.
* Respond to guest inquiries and assist with any late-night requests.
* Provide support to other staff members as needed including light maintenance.
* Report any maintenance or security issues to the relevant departments.
* Provide a friendly and professional service to ensure excellent customer service.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry is required. No applications without previous Night Porter experience will be considered.
* Excellence communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Good attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
* Must be available to work overnight, including weekends and holidays.
