About Northern Trust: Northern Trust, a Fortune 500 company, is a globally recognized, award-winning financial institution that has been in continuous operation since 1889.Have you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.Northern Trust is proud to provide innovative financial services and guidance to the world's most successful individuals, families, and institutions by remaining true to our enduring principles of service, expertise, and integrity.With more than 130 years of financial experience and over 22,000 partners, we serve the world's most sophisticated clients using leading technology and exceptional service.Role /Department The Private Equity Department has been based in Limerick since 2007 and continues to grow as a core part of our global fund services offering.As a member of the Private Equity team, the successful candidate will support the end-to-end administration of Private Equity Funds, including fund accounting, transfer agency, and financial reporting.The team comprises 40 experienced and dynamic professionals and works with some of the most successful Private Equity houses globally.We leverage best-in-class systems and cutting-edge technology to deliver consistently high-quality service.Reflecting this commitment to excellence, Northern Trust was recently named Global Private Equity Fund Administrator of the Year by Global Investor Group.This role offers the opportunity to work on complex fund structures, develop strong client relationships, and build deep expertise in Private Equity fund administration within a collaborative and high-performing environment.Key Responsibilities Deliver a high-quality, client-focused service to a portfolio of Private Equity fund clients.Manage the preparation of interim and annual financial statements for Private Equity Funds, including consolidated financial statements for complex and listed structures.Act as a key point of contact for clients and external auditors, proactively managing audit queries and ensuring timely resolution.Ensure client service level agreements (SLAs) and regulatory filing deadlines are consistently met.Oversee the preparation and review of regulatory returns, including compliance reports, Central Bank filings, and CSO returns.Ensure Net Asset Values (NAVs) are calculated accurately and issued within defined timeframes.Control the accurate and timely payment of fund operating expenses.Ensure operating models and fund structures are clearly established at fund inception.Confirm that all legal, documentation, and compliance requirements are complete and maintained.Prepare, review, and collate management and board reporting packs.Provide support with day-to-day BAU activities as required to support the wider team.Skills & Qualifications Demonstrable experience in Private Equity or alternative investment fund accounting.Strong knowledge of Irish GAAP, UK GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS.Working knowledge of the Irish regulatory and tax environment as it relates to fund accounting and financial reporting.Experience in, or a strong willingness to develop expertise in, Private Equity fund administration.Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.A clear commitment to high-quality delivery, accuracy, and meeting deadlines.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Working with Us: As a Northern Trust partner, greater achievements await.You will be part of a flexible and collaborative work culture in an organization where financial strength and stability is an asset that emboldens us to explore new ideas.Movement within the organization is encouraged, senior leaders are accessible, and you can take pride in working for a company committed to assisting the communities we serve Join a workplace with a greater purpose.We'd love to learn more about how your interests and experience could be a fit with one of the world's most admired and sustainable companies Build your career with us and apply today.#Made For Greater Reasonable accommodation Northern Trust is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.If you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please email our HR Service Center at.We hope you're excited about the role and the opportunity to work with us.We value an inclusive workplace and understand flexibility means different things to different people.Apply today and talk to us about your flexible working requirements and together we can achieve greater.
