Technical Sales Rep
Our client in Dublin 12 is a leading supplier ofair conditioning equipment & Smoke Ventilation Systems.
Responsibilities
Specification and sales of smoke ventilation systems, louvre systems, brise soleil, acoustic solutions, smoke and fire curtains.
Work within a contracting team environment.
Close sales, make connections/relationships with clients and architects.
Participate in pre-project meetings, advise clients of solutions, negotiate terms.
Ensure the CAD and estimating department are kept updated.
Value of individual projects €10k – €2m.
Requirements
Desirable prerequisites:
Technical knowledge in mechanical/electrical/fire engineering.
Previous sales experience selling technical solutions and engineering products to the construction industry.
Experience in specification sales to architects and consulting engineers.
No sales experience: may suit construction background looking to move into sales (e.g., mechanical engineer, QS, design engineer, etc.).
Skills
Ability to clearly explain technical concepts.
Skill in identifying customer needs and challenges.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of sales techniques and methodologies.
Good communication skills, particularly for technical presentations.
Working Hours
******pm (Fridays 8am-2pm)

Projects are priced by the estimating department so the role is to close the sale, make connections/relationships with clients and architects, participate in pre-project meetings, advise clients of solutions, negotiate terms and ensure the CAD and estimating department are kept updated.
