Ryanair is recruiting a Fleet Planner to join their Engineering Department.
The role involves planning scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for Ryanair's fleet of more than 640 aircraft, including Boeing *******, and Airbus A320 models across Europe.
The successful candidate will be based at our Head Office in Airside Business Park, Swords.
The Role
Review and plan day-to-day engineering maintenance requirements, both scheduled and unscheduled.
Work alongside other engineering departments to accomplish tasks and protect operations.
Create spreadsheets for Maintenance Plans for European regional coordinators and maintain oversight of fleet forecasts and statistics.
Use your skills, ideas and knowledge to improve planning processes.
Assign maintenance tasks to the team of coordinators throughout the Ryanair network.
Provide one-to-one planning support to Ryanair's Maintenance and Operations Control Department.
Participate in daily meetings to discuss implementation of maintenance plans.
Other duties as reasonably directed by the Head of Planning and/or Planning Managers.
Willingness to continue training within the Planning Department and your area of responsibility, including liaison with station engineers, liaisons and maintenance coordinators at bases across Europe.
Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated individual.
Computer literate – knowledge of Word and Excel.
Problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
Experience with AMOS, Netline or Smartsheet an advantage.
Aviation knowledge an advantage.
Comfortable working on own initiative and as part of a team.
