Associate Electrical Engineer - Key Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team on a hybrid basis in Ireland. The role offers the opportunity to work across high-tech, industrial, and commercial projects throughout EMEA, leading multidisciplinary teams and contributing to the development of innovative engineering solutions.
About You
Honours degree in Electrical Engineering (Chartership advantageous)
10+ years of sector experience in electrical engineering for data centers, industrial, or high-tech commercial projects
3+ years’ experience managing multidisciplinary teams and overseeing large-scale electrical and mechanical projects
Strong financial acumen, excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
Passion for continuous innovation and adoption of emerging technologies
Key Responsibilities
Review and enhance technical designs to ensure full understanding of scope and functionality
Lead high-performing teams, championing QA/QC, deadlines, and cost management
Collaborate across mechanical and electrical disciplines to optimize project outcomes
Interpret contracts and ensure compliance with terms and conditions
Liaise with senior management on emerging technologies and industry trends
Train junior team members and develop action plans to improve performance
Support business development by providing technical expertise to clients and partners

Hyperscale Data Centre (Sweden), €50M – Delivered full electrical infrastructure and optimized energy efficiency for high‑capacity operations.
Industrial Automation Facility (Germany), €35M – Led multidisciplinary teams to implement cutting-edge electrical systems and process controls.
High-Tech Commercial Campus (Ireland), €20M – Oversaw design enhancements and cost optimization across all M&E engineering disciplines.
