This role involves evening work, midweek and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
* Welcome all guests with warmth, care, and a can-do attitude.
* Take and process orders efficiently, always aiming to do the right thing for our guests by understanding their needs.
* Offer knowledgeable recommendations and provide friendly, attentive service throughout the meal.
* Ensure tables are beautifully set and prepared to hotel standards.
* Keep dining areas clean and well-organised, creating a relaxed and comfortable environment.
* Proactively manage table turnover while maintaining a respectful pace for guests.
Food Service
* Deliver food promptly and professionally, ensuring accuracy and presentation meet expectations.
* Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely, seamless service.
Upkeep and Cleanliness
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, showing care and respect for your environment and team.
* Follow hygiene and safety procedures meticulously to support guest and team health.
Guest Interaction
* Be attentive and responsive to guests’ needs, using initiative to enhance their experience.
* Handle inquiries or concerns with professionalism, empathy, and a commitment to always getting better.
Cash Handling
* Process transactions accurately and responsibly, ensuring financial integrity.
* Follow cash handling procedures and always maintain attention to detail.
Compliance and Safety
* Uphold food safety and health regulations to the highest standards.
