Salary: €37,544 p.a.

Required Qualifications:
Qualifications Required: QQI (FETAC) Level 5 or equivalent.
Job Purpose:
To provide the highest level of care and education for children attending the crèche.
Key Tasks:
To ensure the smooth running of the Playground area and to follow the daily routine.
To ensure that the welfare and development of each individual child is met at all times.
To ensure the individual needs of children are identified and met at all times.
To plan, prepare and supervise rich and stimulating activities for the children you are caring for in line
with Síolta, the National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education, Aistear, the Early
Childhood Curriculum Framework and in accordance with the children's social, emotional, physical,
language and intellectual needs.
Carry out monthly developmental children's observations and record children information on the
company's app which will be monitored to ensure feedback to parents regarding their child's progress
To read, understand, sign and implement all of the crèche's
Policies & Procedures:
To ensure that the practice and provision in the crèche meets the requirements of Tulsa Child and
Family Agency and The Childcare Regulation 2016.
To notify the line manager of any concerns or issues regarding operational practices.
Maintain a positive attitude at all times with work colleagues to establish a good working relationship
with other team members.
To ensure all safety, hygiene and legislative standards are maintained in conjunction with the
crèche's Policies and Procedures.
To maintain a standard of dress, personal hygiene, timekeeping and attendance as per the
Employee Handbook.
Ensure confidentiality, where appropriate, is maintained.
Learning from seniors and supervisors.
Conducting general cleaning duties of your room and as requested by your Line Manager.
To provide a professional, prompt, cheerful and efficient service to the families of the crèche and
potential families.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring all necessary forms for the parents are completed daily such as medical administration
form, accident reports, etc.
Dealing with queries from parents within your role and forwarding all others to the senior leader or
crèche manager.
Ensure that equality of access and opportunity is given to all children, colleagues and families.
Contribute to maintaining a high quality learning space which offers children a wide range of
experiences that are child focused.
To attend regular staff meetings and undertake training as required.
To attend parent information meetings and events as required.
