We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative UAT Analyst to join our team in Cork. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing User Acceptance Testing to ensure that systems and applications meet business requirements before release.

The Role
As a UAT Analyst, you will act as the bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring that delivered solutions meet agreed functional and business requirements. You will coordinate testing cycles, support business testers, track defects, and contribute to successful system releases.
Your role will be central to ensuring that technology solutions align with user expectations and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles.
* Review and interpret business and functional requirements.
* Develop UAT test cases and test scenarios aligned to business processes.
* Facilitate test execution with business stakeholders.
* Log, track, and manage defects using internal ticketing systems.
* Work closely with development and QA teams to resolve issues.
* Ensure traceability between requirements and test coverage.
* Provide regular updates and reporting on UAT progress and results.
* Support go-live activities and post-release validation.
Additional Responsibilities (Depending on Experience)
* Contribute to test strategy development and process improvement initiatives.
* Support regression testing and system integration testing where required.
* Assist with training documentation and end-user guidance.
* Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint reviews.
* Analyse data outputs to validate system accuracy and performance.
What We're Looking For
* Degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or related field (preferred).
* 2+ years' experience in UAT, QA, or business systems testing.
* Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
* Experience writing test cases and managing defect logs.
* Familiarity with ticketing and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
* High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple testing cycles.
* Proactive and organised approach to workload management.
