About the Role We are seeking a detail-driven Financial Analyst to join our Cork-based utility client on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing pricing structures, tariff models, regulatory impacts, and cost drivers to support strategic decision-making across the business. Key Responsibilities Develop, analyse, and maintain pricing and tariff models across multiple customer segments. Assess the financial impact of regulatory changes, market movements, and internal cost updates. Produce forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis related to pricing strategies. Prepare clear reports and presentations for senior leadership, regulatory submissions, and internal stakeholders. Collaborate with commercial, regulatory, operations, and finance teams to ensure pricing reflects true cost-to-serve and strategic objectives. Support continuous improvement of financial modelling and data analytics processes. Skills & Experience Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field. 3+ years' experience as a Financial Analyst, ideally within utilities or regulated industries. Strong financial modelling skills (Excel/Power BI/other analytical tools). Proven experience of working with tariffs, pricing frameworks, or cost allocation models. Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment.
