Main Duties / ResponsibilitiesManage and process Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and other data subject rights requests (e.g. rectification, erasure, restriction) in line with statutory timelines, escalating complex cases where required.Coordinate and support data deletion activities, ensuring requests are completed accurately and in accordance with retention policies and legal requirements.Act as a first point of contact for routine data protection queries, providing guidance to employees and escalating complex or high risk matters to the Data Protection Specialist.Support the investigation and documentation of data incidents and potential personal data breaches, ensuring timely escalation and accurate record keeping.Provide administrative support to the Data Protection Specialist in managing data protection processes, controls, and compliance activities.Assist in monitoring third-party compliance and supporting due diligence and risk management processes.Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and reporting activities by preparing documentation and tracking actions.Help deliver data protection training and awareness initiatives by coordinating sessions and maintaining training records.Collaborate with Data Protection Champions and business stakeholders to support consistent application of data protection practices.Contribute to continuous improvement of data protection processes, templates, and administrative controls.Essential CriteriaJob Specific Education / QualificationDegree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g. business, law, IT, or compliance).Demonstrated interest in data protection and privacy.ExperienceMinimum of 6 months’ experience in an office or administrative environment.Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information accurately.Experience managing or supporting multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.Good organisational skills with the ability to follow processes and maintain accurate records.Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with different teams and stakeholders.Cpl is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.
