Head of Humanitarian Policy, Advocacy & FundingBased in Dublin with possibility to work remotely part of the weekFull Time permanent contract - 36 hours per weekSalary: Band A, commencing at €57,700Closing date: Monday 20th October at 5.00pmOxfam Ireland offers a competitive range of benefits to its employees, including private health insurance, generous pension scheme and life insurance.The RoleThis role is linking two key areas of expertiseLeading on Humanitarian Policy and Advocacy for Oxfam Ireland (50%)Coordinating Humanitarian Funding with the Global Humanitarian team (50%)Policy/AdvocacyTo provide leadership and strategic vision for Oxfam Ireland's work in the humanitarian policy & advocacy arena, including r epresenting Oxfam Ireland at the highest levels within the Irish sector/market (including media), with the Irish Government, humanitarian networks and academic institutions, public and other institutions such as at EU and UN level where appropriate opportunities arise.FundingThis role is key to ensuring strong coordination and supporting the strategic vision set up for the Confederation's humanitarian funding efforts.
