Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an External Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading organization in the financial services sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the overall group consolidated audit, local statutory audits, and advising the finance team on accounting implications of non-routine transactions. They will also work closely with the commercial team to implement new revenue processes and advise on finance matters as required.
This role requires strong technical accounting skills, project management abilities, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role at a Big 4 or Top 20 Practice firm, with a strong understanding of IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple workstreams and schedules to meet deadlines
* Advising the finance team on accounting implications of non-routine transactions
* Work closely with the commercial team to implement new revenue processes
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Technical accounting skills, with a strong understanding of IFRS 15 and IFRS 16
* Project management skills, with ability to manage multiple workstreams and schedules to meet deadlines
* Excellent communication skills, with ability to communicate complex accounting matters to non-accountants
