With a strong and long-term project pipeline, all based locally in Cork, the company continues to expand and is now seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong electrical background to join its senior management team.This role offers long-term stability, local projects, and genuine career progression within a growing contractor.The RoleThe Contracts Manager will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple electrical contracts from pre-construction through to final account and handover. The role requires a strong electrical bias and proven experience managing large-scale electrical packages within industrial or complex construction environments.You will work closely with directors, project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure contracts are delivered safely, profitably and in line with client expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesManage multiple electrical contracts from award through completion and final accountOversee project managers, engineers, and site teams across live projectsLead commercial, contractual, and programme performance of projectsEnsure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specificationReview and manage contract documentation, variations, and riskLiaise with clients, consultants, and senior stakeholdersEnsure compliance with health & safety, quality, and regulatory requirementsSupport procurement strategies for electrical materials and subcontractorsProvide technical and commercial input during tender and pre-construction stagesDrive continuous improvement across project delivery and team performanceRequirementsElectrical trade background or degree in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)Minimum 8+ years' experience in electrical contracting or construction environmentsProven experience in a Contracts Manager, Senior Project Manager, or equivalent roleStrong electrical technical knowledge (LV/MV, power distribution, industrial installations)Solid commercial and contractual understandingExperience managing multiple projects concurrentlyStrong leadership, decision-making, and communication skillsIn-depth knowledge of Irish construction and electrical standardsWhat's on OfferExcellent salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits packagePermanent role with a well-established Cork-based contractorAll projects based locally in Cork – no extensive travelStrong pipeline of secured work offering long-term stabilitySenior leadership role with clear progression opportunities
