Overview
A well-established business with operations selling across Healthcare (Medical Device, Pharma Etc) my client has a role within its Laboratory Equipment and Clinical Diagnostic Division for a Hospital Sales Support & Training Specialist.
Ideally you will be based in or around Limerick or Cork as the Territory for this role is the entire 32 Counties, with a focus on the hospitals in the major urban centres (Dublin, Belfast, Cork, Galway).
You will need to have a background in Laboratory Equipment / Clinical Diagnostic Solutions having worked in a Hospital / Laboratory environment, as this role will see you becoming the main point of contact for Product Training and Support for clients across the Island.

Role
Providing Sales Support and Training on Laboratory Diagnostic Solutions to Healthcare Clients you will manage existing accounts with product demonstrations and on-going training.
Duties
Be proficient in training and demonstrating clinical diagnostic equipment and consumables to a wide range of health professionals
Work closely with the Clinical Diagnostics Manager to ensure all training projects are delivered professionally in a timely manner
Ensure effective sales coverage of all hospitals, public and private in Ireland including the Dublin, Belfast, Cork, and Galway areas
Support the existing clinical diagnostic sales team, including activities in training and customer support/development as necessary to meet short-term and strategic objectives
Keep all documentation up to date, including training competency documents, audit documents and all other relevant documents pertaining to the specific projects you will be involved in
Initiate technical support or manufacturing support to achieve the same objectives
Report to the Clinical Diagnostic Manager and work closely with the other sales team, both internal and external

Laboratory / Pathology Managers; Medical Technician; Medical Consultants and Nurses; Phlebotomy / Infection Control Managers; Purchasing / Supply Managers
Experience
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a science or nursing discipline
1-2 Years working in the clinical diagnostics / hospital sector
Full clean driving licence
