Healthcare Direct is proud to be a leading partner in rehabilitation care provision across Ireland. Our trusted team members operate in more than 130 sites nationwide, ranging from residential care HIQA-registered facilities to post-acute rehabilitation centres. We also provide bespoke services in acute private hospital settings and within clients homes.

Due to continued growth, we are now seeking a Basic Grade Physiotherapist to join our team at one of our key rehabilitation units in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary environment, gaining experience across a variety of patient cohorts.

We offer a flexible approach to working, with both full-time and part-time/flexi hours options available, along with a generous hourly rate. Our health and social care professionals work seamlessly across locations providing services within post-acute rehabilitation, elective orthopaedics, medical inpatients, and musculoskeletal outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities

* Completing comprehensive patient assessments using appropriate clinical techniques and equipment
* Recording information in line with ISCP guidelines and local policies
* Working closely with the MDTincluding nursing staff and referring consultantsto ensure care plans and protocols are actioned appropriately
* Delivering evidence-based interventions and treatments tailored to the needs of rehabilitation patients
* Offering clear and appropriate advice based on each patients medical, social and cultural circumstances
* Developing and progressing patient-centred treatment plans, supporting individuals to achieve their rehabilitation goals
* Maintaining accurate, comprehensive, contemporaneous electronic patient records in line with ISCP standards of practice

Ideal Candidate

* CORU Registration or in the process of registering
* Clinical placement or post-graduate experience in rehabilitation, elderly care, acute medical, or orthopaedics is preferred (not essential)
* Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
* Must have own transport, clean drivers licence, and a smartphone
* Passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-focused care in a dynamic and supportive rehabilitation environment
