Techops Engineer
About the Role:
The TechOps Engineer will be an integral part of a dynamic global team, responsible for managing and maintaining Windows and Active Directory systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing and maintaining Windows and Active Directory systems across the organization
* Patching and deploying new IT infrastructure, with experience in VMware & Hyper-V being an advantage
* Maintaining security standards and best practices
* Ensuring that backup and disaster recovery plans incorporate restoration of Windows Infrastructure
* Designing and documenting IT Infrastructure architecture
* Deploying updates and new installations via Intune
* Managing device deployment using Autopilot
* Developing automation scripts to carry out operational tasks using Power Shell
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Extensive experience with patch deployment and endpoint compliance using SCCM and In Tune
* Expertise in building and maintaining Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory systems
* Demonstrated skills in communication, collaboration, relationship building in a global organisation
* Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
* Experience with Qualys or similar tools is an advantage
* Power Shell Scripting skills
* Relevant Microsoft certifications are an advantage
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
* Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or related
