Overview
A well-established mechanical engineering company is seeking an experienced
Project Manager
to lead HVAC and mechanical installation projects across the West of Ireland.
This is a field-based role with projects spanning
Mayo, Galway, Roscommon, Limerick, Clare, and Westmeath
, making it ideal for candidates based in the western region looking for a dynamic and hands-on position.
Key Responsibilities
Manage multiple
HVAC and mechanical engineering projects
from inception through to completion
Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
Manage procurement of materials and equipment
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards
Conduct site visits across the West of Ireland as required
Requirements
Degree or trade background in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Proven experience managing
HVAC or mechanical projects
Strong knowledge of building services and mechanical systems
Experience delivering projects across multiple sites/locations
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Full clean driving licence (travel required)
Desirable
Experience working on commercial or industrial projects
Familiarity with Irish building regulations and compliance standards
Project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2)
