The Role
* Work as part of a multi-disciplinary maintenance team supporting site operations
* Take responsibility for a defined plant process area
* Plan and execute preventative and predictive maintenance programmes
* Coordinate major shutdowns and plant overhauls
* Manage contractors and external service providers for specific jobs and projects
* Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues to improve plant availability and reliability
* Contribute to continuous improvement of safety, environmental and operational standards
* Scope, support, and deliver large-scale plant improvement projects from construction to installation
* Lead commissioning activities and ensure structured handover to operations
The Person
* Qualified Mechanical Engineer (or similar discipline)
* Strong knowledge of Health & Safety in a heavy industry or manufacturing environment
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
* Proven technical ability with strong commercial awareness
* Strong IT skills, including MS Office and AutoCAD
* Highly organised, with attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative
* Track record of adding value and contributing positively to previous employers
