Role Overview:We are currently seeking a Full Time Parts/Stores Person to join our Denn-Part business which provides alternative parts for all makes, truck, trailer components, accessories and used parts.This is a key role within the aftersales side of our business and will assist with the growth of our Denn-Part offering in the Republic of Ireland.Location:The role will be based at our stores premises in Mitchelstown, County Cork and will liaise very closely with our Field Based Sales Representative for the local area. The role will also involve liaison with, and may involve occasional travel to, our central Denn-Part support team based in County Antrim.About The RoleKey Duties and Responsibilities:Receipt of parts and completion of stock handling in a timely and accurate mannerEnsure all stock is placed in correct store locationsMaintain stock levels and keep accurate inventory at all timesReport to management, errors, discrepancies, and damages for action to be takenCompletion of accurate invoices for customers in a timely fashionLiaise with our central accounts team regarding payment queriesDelivery and collection of parts using the most efficient and effective routes and methodsAssist with the co-ordination of campaigns, events, and represent the company as requiredPass on customer complaints in line with company proceduresRespond to sales representative and/or customer queries in a timely mannerMaintain personal appearance/presentation, and working habits to reflect both the company and brand imageRequired CriteriaMust possess previous experience of working in a similar role in a stores / vehicle parts environmentBe IT literate and have previous experience of using various computer systems e.g. Microsoft Office, stock control systems etcPossess the ability to build and maintain strong, positive working relationships to drive customer loyalty and confidenceBe an excellent communicator both verbally and in written formatPossess a proactive, flexible and methodical approach to workBe self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure using their own initiativeBe able to manage their time effectivelyPossess a full, valid driving licencePossess a working knowledge of good practice relating to Health and Safety regulationsDesired CriteriaPrevious experience of working in, or having exposure to, the heavy vehicle industry would be highly desirablePrevious experience of invoicing would be highly desirablePossession of a current forklift training licence/certificate would be advantageousSkills NeededCustomer Relationship Management, Van Driving, Organisational skillsAbout The CompanyJoin the Dennisons Team: A Legacy of Excellence in Commercial VehiclesDennisons, a family of businesses united in offering superior services in the commercial vehicle industry, invites you to become part of our story.
