We are seeking an Internal Trainer & Facilitator In Person Centred Planning to lead and deliver high-quality training programs across Clare services. This role involves (a) delivering Safety Intervention and Clinical Holding training to ensure staff respond safely and ethically to behaviours of concern and (b) Designing and facilitating Person-Centred Planning workshops using Personal Outcome Measures.
Role: Internal Trainer & Facilitator In Person Centred Planning
Contract: Permanent Full-Time, 70 hours per fortnight
Location: Clare County Wide (Office based in Ennis)
Qualification & Experience Required:
* Possess a relevant Level 8 qualification on the Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) framework in a health, social care, education or related field.
* Have a minimum of 3 years' experience in disability or other health related services.
* Have experience delivering training, supporting teams around person centred planning and implementing quality standards.
* Experience of managing or supporting staff teams in relation to behaviours that challenge.
* Excellent communication, facilitation and organisational skills together with up-to-date knowledge of current thinking and practice in services for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
* Have experience of facilitating individual and group scenarios
* Have a strong commitment to the values of inclusiveness, human rights and person-centred services
* Excellent IT skills, particularly Powerpoint presentations for training delivery.
* Self Motivated and Ability to work effectively on own initiative.
* Possession of a full clean driving licence which qualifies you to drive on Irish roads is essential.
