About the Role
The role of Fusion SCM Solution Architect is part consultant, part business analyst, part technical architect, and part presales specialist.
It requires in-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Planning modules (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, Planning Central) and Product Hub/PLM capabilities, understanding their strengths, limitations, integration patterns with other Fusion modules, and migration paths from legacy systems.
Sometimes this means recommending process changes rather than customisations, providing best practice guidance on supply chain planning strategies, item master governance, and product lifecycle management that organisations should adopt.
This is a full-time permanent role which may be home based in the UK/Ireland/Europe or in a hybrid structure from our Shared Service Centre in Limerick.
Responsibilities
Full ownership of the complete Oracle Fusion SCM solution (Supply Chain Planning and/or Product Hub modules), encompassing both functional configuration and technical integrations.
Must see implementations through to completion.
Set the overall solution vision for implementation teams and guide them through solution execution, ensuring alignment with Oracle best practices and customer requirements.
Design customer centric solutions using an all-inclusive approach – functional configuration, technical extensions, integrations with Oracle and third‑party systems, data migration strategies, and reporting/analytics requirements.
Mentor and support early career and junior consultants.
Build and sustain deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Planning (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Sales & Operations Planning, Planning Central) and Product Hub/PLM (Item Master, Product Data Governance, Product Development).
Note: An understanding of key integration points with Procurement, Inventory, Order Management, Manufacturing, and Financials is required; deep expertise in all Oracle Fusion modules is not necessary.
Demonstrate strong commercial awareness, proposing solutions that respect client budgets, Oracle licensing constraints, and implementation scope.
Communicate effectively across all levels – from C‑suite executives to end users, from technical architects to business analysts, and with Oracle and third‑party vendors.
Deliver compelling presales demonstrations and support business development activities by showcasing Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Planning and Product Hub capabilities to prospective clients.
Comply with all Redfaire and client data protection policies.
Qualifications & Previous Experience
Minimum 5+ years of experience implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM applications
Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Planning (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Sales & Operations Planning, Planning Central)
Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle Product Hub/PLM (Item Master, Product Information Management, Product Development)
Experience with Oracle Fusion integrations (FBDI, REST APIs, Oracle Integration Cloud)
Proven ability to conduct presales activities, including solution demonstrations and proposal development
Excellent communication skills in English; additional European languages are a plus.
Willingness to travel to European client sites as required.
Nice to Have
Experience with Oracle Fusion Manufacturing, Inventory, or Procurement modules
Previous experience with JD Edwards or other legacy ERP systems
Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and related services
Understanding of supply chain planning methodologies (MRP, DRP, S&OP)
