We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to lead strategic planning and raw material purchasing improvement programs across multiple global locations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Strategic Initiatives: Spearhead cross-functional supply planning and raw material purchasing improvement programs within the Surgical Vision franchise, ensuring seamless alignment across various sites.
2. Implement Best Practices: Collaborate with site planning and raw material teams to deploy best-in-class supply planning processes and tools.
3. Drive Continuous Improvement: Advocate for standardization, automation, and ongoing enhancement initiatives across planning and purchasing operations.
4. Coordinate Across Sites: Act as a key liaison between the Limerick planning location and Surgical Vision manufacturing locations to coordinate and align on planning strategies effectively.
5. Project Tracking: Develop and monitor key project milestones, deliverables, and KPIs to guarantee successful execution and value delivery.
6. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively devise strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project success.
7. Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders to influence decision-making and align program goals with strategic initiatives.
8. Change Management: Support change management and training initiatives related to planning process enhancements or system implementations to foster smooth transitions.

Qualifications
1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Experience: 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, procurement, or project management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
3. Cross-Functional Expertise: Proven experience leading cross-site or cross-functional supply chain projects with success.
4. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of supply planning processes, MRP systems (e.g., SAP), and raw material procurement.
5. Project Management Skills: Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
6. Leadership Ability: Demonstrated capability to lead through influence in a matrixed environment, fostering collaboration and innovation.
7. Problem-Solving Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills paired with a continuous improvement mindset.
