Facilities Engineer - Kerry
Reporting to the Engineering Facilities Lead, the Facilities Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of all specified Facilities Systems and Equipment.
The successful Engineer will have a minimum of 3 years’ pharmaceutical/Industrial/Semi-conductor process experience
Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
Scheduling and supervising all temporary contractor personnel in the Facilities Department
Developing operational/maintenance procedures to achieve and maintain best practice and regulatory compliance
Continuous development of Facilities systems to achieve maximum operational and maintenance efficiency
Providing operational and investment budget support to the Engineering Facilities Lead as required
Acting as SME owner for GMP and Non-GMP systems as applicable
Troubleshooting process specific equipment as needed
Generating data and reports to support Annual Product Quality Reviews and regulatory submissions
Supporting Change Control and Commissioning/Qualification activities
Providing Facilities focused input to all organisation projects
Developing and planning shutdown schedules with Facilities and Business Units
Providing timely and accurate feedback on potential issues (such as resources, technical issues etc)
Mentoring interim Engineers and Students as required
Skills and experience required:
Third level qualification in a Mechanical, Chemical or Science discipline.
Good knowledge of GMP and validation of systems.
Project management skills and ability to lead Facilities projects.
Good working knowledge on HVAC & Clean systems required
Flexible approach to work and practices/procedures required
Knowledge of SAP Maintenance Processing, Trackwise and CAD highly advantageous
