Job Title: Infrastructure Automation Specialist

As a highly skilled Infrastructure Automation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering and maintaining automation-based systems and solutions that provide flexible, innovative, cost-effective, compliant, and quality-focused manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge in analytics and data insights, be innovative, customer-focused, and results-driven, with the ability to operate as part of a team in a highly interdependent environment.


Key Responsibilities:

* Design, configure, program, and qualify Rockwell factory talk systems (DCS), thin manager, asset centre.
* Understand protocols such as OPC, UPC-UA, MQTT, TCP/IP, HTTP.
* Ensure appropriate monitoring, alerting, response to network, system, application issues affecting functionality and availability.
* Provide automation technical knowledge, support for troubleshooting, investigations, installations, and training.
* Develop automation system design for data integrity, stability, and integration between different systems.
* Design and deliver end-to-end data solutions to meet current and future needs.
* Facilitate smooth transition of projects from development into production environment.
* Oversee migration of data from legacy systems to new applications.
* Act as subject matter expert and technical go-to for historian and data integration solutions.
* Ensure compliance and optimization of automation systems.
* Create, modify, and maintain automation systems & documentation including automation specification documents and SOPs.
* Work closely with corporate IT infrastructure team to ensure continued technical alignment.
* Manage support for manufacturing dependencies and touchpoints with enterprise systems.
* Support validation of automation systems with QA.
* Design and implement solutions across automation platforms in line with site change control procedures.
* Implement and report preventative maintenance, patching, and upgrades.
* Develop plan for system obsolescence, vendor support, and upgrade scheduling.


Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline.
* 3+ years relevant experience for Engineer.
* 5+ years relevant experience for Senior Engineer.
