Catering Assistant - 2 Year Fixed Term 32 Hour Contract
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Catering Assistant to join the Bon Secours Health System Hospital Galway Ireland's Largest Private Healthcare provider.
Job Purpose:
Responsible for maintaining and improving the high standards of service, hygiene and cleanliness throughout the Restaurant and relevant areas.
Ideal Candidate:
* Flexibility (Shifts, rosters, etc)
* Clean, neat appearance
* HACCP essential
* Excellent timekeeping / reliability / punctuality
* Ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
* Initiative and Honesty
* Excellent command of English Language
* Manual handling / manual dexterity
Responsibilities and Experience:
Ensure the following duties are carried out according to hospital policy / procedures.
* Cashier duties/procedures.
* Storage, preservation and distribution of supplies.
* Preparing all counter areas for service and counter duties.
* Cleaning all equipment and recording same.
* Waste disposal duties/procedures.
* Wash up procedures
* Sandwich bar duties
* Carry out any other necessary duties as specified by the Restaurant Team Leader
