Accounts Assistant Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Accounts Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various aspects of accounts, including credit control, posting invoices, and maintaining spend trackers.
The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. They will also possess a solid understanding of accounts payable and receivable procedures.
In this role, you will:
* Manage credit control processes, ensuring timely payments from suppliers and customers.
* Post supplier and subcontractor invoices, as well as match them to purchase orders and highlight any discrepancies.
* Maintain accurate spend trackers, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
* Assist with month-end creditor reconciliations and operational administration duties.
* Perform ad-hoc tasks as requested by senior management.
