Health Safety Specialist Role
Description:
We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Specialist to manage health and safety on a large-scale residential construction project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with the construction management team to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
* Ensure implementation of the Health & Safety Management System on site.
* Identify and address site-specific hazards.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate records.
* Enforce adherence to site rules.
* Support development of risk assessments and safe systems of work.
* Coordinate contractor activities.
* Conduct on-site audits and address non-conformances.
* Develop H&S communications.
Requirements:
* Minimum 4 years experience managing safety systems in construction.
* Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
* Membership of IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) preferred.
* Ability to manage Health & Safety on-site using initiative.
