We are looking for an experienced manager with a background in applied social studies or a related field, who has proven experience in managing residential care teams and working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

* Provide strong leadership to staff, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture that supports the delivery of person-centered services.

* Monitor and evaluate staff performance, attendance, and service delivery through formal supervision, team meetings, and performance management systems.

* Participate in the planning and implementation of training programs, including induction training for new staff.

* Promote the values of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, and rights for residents.

* Ensure compliance with national regulations and manage budgets, resources, and financial reporting.

* Maintain accurate records and reports, and act as a key worker if required.

* Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents, addressing any safeguarding concerns promptly and effectively.

* Collaborate with child protection services, social workers, and legal representatives to provide comprehensive support to residents.

Requirements:

We are seeking an experienced manager with a Third Level Qualification in Applied Social Studies or equivalent, and a suitable management qualification. A minimum of 3+ years' experience in a similar setting is essential, with evidence of managing and working collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work flexibly and respond to changing circumstances. Experience in supervising and leading others, working with young people, and providing care in a community setting is highly desirable.
