Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced electronic design engineer to lead and contribute to the design, development, and validation of advanced electronic hardware for our 5G Radio Units. The role involves end-to-end ownership of design (from concept, architecture through prototyping, testing, and production), working closely with RF, firmware, mechanical, and system teams.
This position is ideal for an experienced engineer with strong fundamentals in electronics, hands‑on hardware development skills, and experience delivering complex products in high‑speed, high‑frequency, or telecom environments. RF experience is a plus for the role.
Key Responsibilities
Hardware Design & Development
Design and develop analog, digital, and mixed‑signal electronic circuits for 5G products
Lead schematic design, component selection, and PCB layout (high‑speed, hi‑density PCB)
Support designs involving high‑speed interfaces (PCIe, Ethernet, SerDes, DDR, LVDS, SPI, I²C, UART)
Collaborate with RF engineers on integration of RF front‑end, power, and control electronics
Collaborate with mechanical engineers in product design
Perform board bring‑up, system integration, and root‑cause debugging
Diagnose signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC, and thermal issues
Own hardware deliverables from concept to production
Support DFM, DFA, and DFT activities with manufacturing partners
Review and approve hardware documentation, schematics, BOMs, and test procedures
Testing & Compliance
Develop and execute hardware validation and qualification plans
Support regulatory compliance (EMI/EMC, safety, environmental) testing
Collaborate with QA and test engineering teams to improve product reliability
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in electronics hardware design
Strong fundamentals in:
Analogue and digital circuit design
Power supply design (DC‑DC, LDOs, power sequencing)
Experience with schematic and PCB tools (e.g., Altium)
Hands‑on experience with hardware bring‑up and debugging
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and lead complex technical tasks
Attention to detail with a system‑level mindset
Effective cross‑functional collaboration
