You'll work at the intersection of finance and operations, providing analysis that shapes key decisions and project outcomes. This is a hands-on, forward-looking role offering variety, visibility, and the chance to strengthen both your technical and commercial expertise on large-scale international projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare weekly and monthly cost and revenue reports, analyse trends, and present insights to senior management.
* Cost Control & Budgeting:
Monitor project spending, track performance against budgets, and provide financial guidance to project teams.
* Contract & Revenue Accounting:
Manage revenue recognition, WIP, and contract accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting.
* Collaboration:
Partner with operations and commercial teams across multiple locations to support informed decision-making.
* Process Improvement:
Support the development of enhanced financial reporting tools and dashboards, including Power BI.
Ideal Candidate
* 1-2 years PQE accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
* Excellent analytical and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Excel; Power BI experience a plus.
* Experience in project-based or construction environments is advantageous.
