Health Safety Officer Role
We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety professional to manage health and safety activities on site, assist in emergency situations, and conduct audits.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Health and Safety Manager and Project Manager to ensure that all site staff adhere to health and safety regulations.
* Conduct regular site inspections, walks, and audits to identify potential hazards and implement control measures.
* Produce detailed reports on site visits and maintain accurate records of health and safety activities.
* Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Communicate effectively with site management and staff to promote a culture of health and safety awareness.
* Source and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) stocks to ensure that staff have access to necessary safety gear.
* Attend health and safety meetings and contribute to the development of company-wide health and safety strategies.
Requirements:
3-5 years plus relevant experience in health and safety management.
Hold a recognized third-level qualification in health and safety or a related field.
Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
Show self-motivation and a proactive approach to health and safety.
Be a team player who can also work independently when required.
Hold a full driving license.
