Expectations and Task:
* Delivery of development support tasks in the assigned functional areas of responsibility
* Ensure excellent quality and maintain high standards in incident processing and software corrections in the assigned areas of responsibility
* Contribute to the development of SAP’s product standards, development and support infrastructure, as well as development and support processes
* Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging.
* Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
* Ensure application security best practices.
* Maintain documentation and technical specifications.
Required skills
* Degree/diploma (or equivalent) in a computing discipline with software development or equivalent industry experience
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Ability to work well with cross‑cultural global teams
* Strong commitment to quality
* Self‑motivated, ability and willingness to quickly take responsibility and to execute
* Experience working with Node.js, Angular & MongoDB
* Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and cloud platforms
* Understanding of microservices, Kubernetes & Docker
* Understanding of DevOps practices
* Understanding of testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Jest)
* Understanding of agile methodology
* Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn new technologies, with a strong interest in software development.
Preferred Skills:
* 2 years of experience in software development
* Software debugging experience in a customer support or development support role
* Knowledge of databases such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL
* Knowledge and experience of CRM applications and processes
* Knowledge of the ABAP programming language
About the Team:
The Platform and Foundation team provides development support for SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud customers, working closely with global teams to deliver EU‑Only Access development support to customer tenants while maintaining the highest quality of support. The team also develops critical functionality in SAP Sales Cloud V2 and SAP Service Cloud V2 for customers in a cloud native environment.
