We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to take on the role of Yard Operative. This vital position is responsible for ensuring yard operations are carried out efficiently, effectively, and above all else, safely, whilst upholding our customer-first culture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work independently and as part of the team to serve customers face-to-face and provide excellent customer service
* Prepare orders for collection & delivery and ensure sales documentation is completed accurately
* Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift truck, prioritizing efficiency and safety
* Maintain adequate branch stock levels and count accurately during stocktake
Requirements:
* A positive and approachable team player, passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
* A willingness to learn and develop, with a basic level of literacy and numeracy
* A proactive attitude, with prior FLT experience and licence preferred but not essential
