Overview Of Role
We are looking for a candidate with healthcare experience who is service-minded and is driven to help others and make the patient experience as straightforward and pleasant as possible. The candidate will be a team-player who is adaptable, responsive and learning-minded in a fast-paced environment. They will be organised in their approach and competent in the use of technology to facilitate a collaborative and effective way of working.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
* Meet and greet of patients/ visitors.
* To deal with patient queries in relation to Radiotherapy services, treatment appointments, transport etc.
* Proficient use of the electronic medical record.
* Managing the patient appointment schedule efficiently and effectively.
* Be able to multitask in a busy role, working within a multi-disciplinary team.
* Have excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
* Be responsible for confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
* Have previous relevant work experience.
* Have excellent Customer Care Skills in a patient focused environment.
* Have excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner, and the ability to communicate effectively with all key stakeholders.
* Have knowledge of all Microsoft packages and experience of a Hospital Administrative System is advantageous.
* Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Be able to work in a fast-paced customer-based environment.
