Job Title: Conference PorterDepartment: PortersReports to: Head PorterJob Purpose:To provide an outstanding level of service by ensuring all conference and event spaces are set up to the highest standard and maintained throughout the event. The Conference Porter plays a key role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for all guests, in line with the Riverside Park Hotel & Leisure Club's values.Key Responsibilities:Set up and break down & refreshing meeting rooms and event spaces according to client specifications (layout, audio-visual, furniture, and amenities).Ensure all event spaces are clean, safe, and well-presented at all times.Provide assistance and support to conference guests throughout their event.Work collaboratively with the Conference & Banqueting, Front Office, and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless delivery of events.Respond promptly to guest requests and conference changes with a helpful and professional attitude.Maintain all equipment in good condition and report any faults promptly.Manage storerooms and ensure that all stock is organised and accounted for.Ensuring all meeting room food & beverages are delivered at clients specified time.Uphold health, safety, and fire regulations during all setups and operations.Requirements:Positive and flexible attitude with a passion for excellent customer service.Physically fit and able to move furniture and equipment.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Excellent time management and ability to adapt to changing priorities.Our Values in Action:Care: You show genuine consideration for the needs of guests and colleagues, maintaining a helpful and courteous approach at all times.Doing the Right Thing: You act with integrity, take responsibility for your role, and ensure the setup is safe, professional, and to standard.Energy & Drive: You approach each day with enthusiasm, going the extra mile to exceed guest expectations and support your team.Always Getting Better: You are committed to learning, take feedback constructively, and actively seek ways to improve service and efficiency.
