Supply Chain Lawyer Job Description
This role involves providing legal expertise on supply chain contracts and procurement matters, drafting tender documents, managing specialists, and monitoring legislative changes.
Main Responsibilities
* Drafting, negotiating, reviewing, and updating tender documents, standard forms, and bespoke contracts to ensure they meet business requirements.
* Managing and supporting external specialists, including lawyers, to deliver desired outcomes and provide expert advice.
* Identifying potential legal risks, developing reporting structures, and conducting reviews to mitigate these risks.
* Promoting legal awareness and communicating the importance of seeking legal input to the business.
* Developing and delivering in-house training on areas of interest to the wider business.
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of construction, contracts law, and procurement legislative changes and case-law affecting the company's business.
* Attending internal committees related to contract approvals and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Strong commercial contract law experience and a team-oriented approach.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

Fixed-Term Contract
