Fresh Food Management Role
Excel Recruitment is seeking a skilled professional for the position of Fresh Food Manager in a retail store on the Clare / Tipperary border.
Our ideal candidate will have a passion for fresh food, excellent management skills, and a proven track record in a similar leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
* Ensure all fresh food products meet high quality standards, are beautifully presented, and comply with company regulations.
* Oversee ordering, receiving, and managing inventory to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
* Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
* Train, mentor, and develop team members.
* Ensure the smooth operation of the fresh food department.
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Fresh Food Manager, Deli Manager, or similar leadership role in a high-volume retail environment.
* Strong leadership and people management skills with a genuine passion for team development.
* Excellent knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices.
* Proven ability to manage stock, costs, and margin while delivering a premium fresh food offering.
