Working closely with the Site Operations Manager and site senior team, the Team Leader is responsible for taking part and supervising the day-to-day activities of team members employed on the Distribution Centre floor, to ensure operations run seamlessly. He / she is always on ground to monitor and evaluate the performance of workers and ensure that work equipment is available. Critical to managing your own operational tasks, the Team Leader role is about people support, development and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
Managing and assigning the daily work plan.
Manage and organise daily picking / packing / put away / stock replenishment requirements.
Monitor accuracy and organisation during intake and outload.
Supervise picking and checking process for accuracy and to ensure branch / customer orders are fulfilled correctly.
Daily liaison with Site Dispatch Lead and Hauliers.
Monitor daily pick / packing / put away / stock replenishment performances and KPIs.
Adherence to stock management systems and site processes.
Full adherence to health and safety policy and procedures.
Assist in employee training, development, and engagement.
Work with / support site management team.
Experience & Qualifications
One to two years’ experience working as a Team Leader in a Warehouse environment.
With a strong emphasis on people, process, health and safety, a working knowledge of warehouse management systems.
Ability to work with detailed information in a structured fashion.
Good team skills to be able to work with others.
Good leadership skills.
Ability to fully carry out instructions.
Ability to multitask.
Good knowledge of record keeping.
