Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commis Chef to assist in the preparation of high-quality dishes and menu planning.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in managing food preparation, presentation, and service standards.
Main Responsibilities:
* Preparation of mise en place and main courses
* Menu development and planning
* Supervision and training of junior chefs
* Maintenance of high food hygiene and safety standards
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a commis chef in a busy kitchen environment
* Proven experience in working on main courses and developing menus
* FHSA Food Hygiene training or equivalent experience
This is a full-time permanent position, with a 39-hour weekly schedule. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn and develop their skills in a dynamic environment.
