Materials Planner Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Materials Planner to join our organization. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient planning, procurement, and management of materials to support production and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze demand forecasts and inventory levels to determine material requirements.
* Create and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials.
* Coordinate with suppliers to resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.
* Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory to meet production needs.
* Identify excess or obsolete inventory and recommend actions to reduce waste.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
* 2+ years of experience in materials planning, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
* Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
* Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
