About the Role
JCPS Mechanical Ltd is seeking a Qualified Air Conditioning Service & Installation Engineer to join our team. Based in Ballycoolin, Engineers will work on-site across various projects, installing, servicing, and repairing HVAC systems.
Key Requirements
→ Detailed knowledge of HVAC systems, techniques, materials, and equipment
→ Completed Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Apprenticeship
→ Full, clean driving licence
→ 5+ years' experience in a similar role
→ Experience supervising or managing work
→ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
→ Excellent practical and problem-solving skills
→ Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer-facing work
→ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
→ Meticulous attention to detail
→ Knowledge of F-gas, industry safety standards, and legal guidelines
→ Plumbing experience advantageous
→ Remuneration commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities
→ Install, maintain, and repair Air Conditioning HVAC systems
→ Attend service call-outs and emergency repairs
→ Diagnose faults in HVAC systems and equipment and resolve issues
→ Work on various systems, primarily Mitsubishi, Toshiba, and Daikin
→ Respond to urgent customer requests for repairs and maintenance
